AME Restaurant Toronto

The interior design of a beautiful restaurant called AME Restaurant which is Toronto based, Canada has been created by the interior design firm Munge Leung. To design the interior of this building, the strategy dress model of the Ame’s staff is dressing in Asian inspired uniform which are the sleek of the fashion is forward creations of the Canadian designer Anne Hung. The transcendent space of the AME is fuses the traditional and the contemporary to create a place which is warm, spacious and striking. The dining and the lounge area have been opened up to create a more social ambiance which is ideal for the after-dinner lounging and dancing; it is as a part of the Ame’s transformation into the ultimate supper club. The elevated open area with the banquettes is the private dining room, here the guest can take a dinner and enjoy the bottle service and the experience an authentic supper club vibe.

With the sleek black leather, the silk kimono fabrics is juxtaposed and the polished concrete flooring reflected by the hand hewn wood plank ceiling installation which is balance through contrast, it is the defining philosophy which is gives the shape to the transcendent experience at the AME Restaurant. The visually strong yet simple space is richly complex compositions of the materials. Beyond the customary, the materials is imparting the form and the function and a hostess station is created by a custom cut of the block of the Owen Sound Limestone, and the dining table surface is formed by the sheets of the natural black walnut, banquette and the dining room seating upholstered in the vibrant kimono fabrics. All of it is together harmonized in a symbolic storytelling of the vision behind the Ame’s creation. Ame’s interior design is realized through the materiality and an integration of the textures and color to complement the exquisite gastronomical and entertain the experience which is celebrated for and it is unconcerned with the mimicking trends or the conventional stereotypes of the Japanese style design.

The guest who enters this restaurant will feel the Asian atmosphere. It comes from the interior design which the designer has made. The furniture, wall, painting, partition, also the lighting, all of them are Asian style costumed, so eye-catching and impressive.
