Finn Juhl design.

Finn Juhl was a pioneer in Danish design. In 1945 he designed this fantastic armchair, which was one of the first to break with tradition by freeing the seat and back from the frame. The result was an easy, elegant and tantalising expression that came to characterise Finn Juhl and make him world famous as an unrivalled designer.

The 45 Chair is an example of high quality craftsmanship with carefully selected wood and upholstered with leather or fabric.

Finn Juhl was a Danish architect, interior, and industrial designer born in 1912 and passed away in 1989. He was a prominent figure in the Scandinavian design movement and is best known for his furniture designs. Juhl's furniture designs were innovative and characterized by organic shapes, bold use of colors, and sculptural forms. Some of his most famous designs include the "Chieftain Chair," the "Pelican Chair," and the "Poet Sofa." Finn Juhl's designs continue to be highly sought after and are considered iconic examples of mid-century modern design.
