The Palace wing features original Secessionist details, such as the marble floors, the mosaics, and the stained glass windows. The new wing is more modern in its design, but it still complements the original building. The crown motif of roses is a recurring theme throughout the hotel, and it is used in the carpets, the furniture, and the artwork.

The idea was to create a space where old and new blend in the image of the restaurant, not that one of them dominates.
