 Versace opens a five-star hotel in Dubai with designer interiors

The hotel boasts 215 rooms with furniture and interiors designed by Donatella Versace

Versace celebrates the common ground between fashion and hospitality: good taste. The maison has taken exclusivity to the next level with its all-new Palazzo Versace Hotel and Resort in Dubai.

As the second Versace resort following the first one on the Gold Coast, Australia, the five-star property is located at the centre of the Dubai Cultural Village.

The new hotel has an exterior resembling a 16th-century Italian palace with subtle Arabian touches. Italian luxury is extended into the 215 rooms, with furniture and interiors designed by Donatella Versace.

For the grand opening, Versace also brought its couture collection straight from Paris Fashion Week and allowed its Emirates clientele to meet with the atelier team and review the collection throughout the week. Exclusive couture service was also provided by couturiers from Milan, and a portion of proceeds from the orders will go to a local charity called Dubai Cares.

The Palazzo Versace is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, UAE. The hotel was designed by the renowned fashion designer Gianni Versace, who passed away in 1997. Before his death, Versace had been working on the design of the hotel, which was completed by his team at the fashion house, led by his sister, Donatella Versace. The hotel's design is heavily inspired by the fashion brand's signature style, featuring bold patterns, vibrant colors, and luxurious materials throughout. The interiors were designed by the London-based firm, United Designers, who worked closely with Donatella Versace to bring the vision to life. The Palazzo Versace is considered one of the most opulent and luxurious hotels in Dubai, and its design reflects the brand's reputation for glamour and sophistication.

His style has been sought after by an A-list clientele for Residential and Commercial projects worldwide and praised by Media from the New York Times to AD China Or Elle Decor, 00P listed in AD China top 100 and Best Residence by Residence Magazine. Inspired by Art Deco, French classicism, and contemporary design, he enjoys mixing different eras to produce unique and serene spaces.

Supported by a team of designers and project managers, the studio offers full services, from concept, to decoration, furniture design, and construction.

GODS is a story of enlightenment and cognition; art in its purest form which manifests itself in everything: interior, dishes, cocktails.

In the interior of GODS you can observe the totality of different eras of art: the Middle Ages, the beauty of the Renaissance, the mythology of Ancient Greece, contemporary art in collaboration with antique statues and engravings. The sculpture of Venus de Milo, Michelangelo’s “hands”, engravings by Gustave Dore, Heinrich Aldegrever’s Hercules, fittings from Fitzgerald’s books – stealing beauty in everything!

The menu of GODS is built on the idea of taste research – it combines the geographical diversity of recipes, a modern interpretation of the classics and an original presentation: dishes from different cuisines of the world, each prepared according to the author recipes using molecular technologies.

The cocktail card of GODS is divided into two parts. The first is devoted to the external, bodily side of the universe; the second is internal, spiritual. In the first section, light and refreshing mixes will be presented, in the second – more complex and strong ones.

The interior features a contemporary yet warm ambiance, incorporating natural materials like wood and stone, paired with sleek, minimalist furnishings to create a welcoming space for socializing. The innovative use of space, including a thoughtfully designed pool table area and cozy seating zones, reflects 6PM IDEAS’ signature style of blending functionality with visual appeal, making 27cm Pub & Cafe a standout destination for both locals and tourists.
