Mordisco restaurant Barcelona, Spain

Mordisco is our home. An iconic restaurant located in one of the most beautiful passages of Barcelona, next to Paseo de Gracia.

It is unmistakable for its green words bitten into the façade – written with the Mordisco font designed by Mario Eskenazi. Inside there are photos that tell the story of the place, a well-known meeting point in Barcelona of the 80s. Dinky, Rubén and Ricardo are still part of the team more than three decades later.

Ten years ago, the interior designer Sandra Tarruella was in charge of the reform of the current premises covering the interior patio with a large greenhouse, which is our main dining room. A space full of light, vegetation and life. Here you can find the famous painting of Mariscal that has always accompanied us.

The mythical Mordisco bar is still the meeting point for very interesting friends: creatives, journalists, artists, writers… In Mordisco one always feels accompanied.

As you go up the stairs you will find several spaces for events, exhibitions and celebrations. The warmest place in our house.
