The Newman Hotel's design theory, led by Lind + Almond, deeply embeds itself in Fitzrovia's bohemian history, blending Art Deco elegance with contemporary sophistication by drawing inspiration from local literary figures like Nancy Cunard, whose bold style influences patterns and sculptural details, while echoing nearby architectural landmarks like Shropshire House for bathroom designs and Gem Langham Court Hotel for tiling. It's a narrative-driven approach, creating continuity and a sense of place through rich textures, deep colours, custom furnishings, and curated art that celebrates Fitzrovia's artistic legacy, offering a refined yet eclectic experience rooted in its vibrant neighbourhood. 

The Newman Hotel in London was designed by the London-based studio Lind + Almond, led by Pernille Lind and Richy Almond. The architecture of the building was handled by ReardonSmith Architects. The design concept is deeply rooted in the history and character of the surrounding Fitzrovia neighborhood, seamlessly blending Victorian and Art Deco elements. 

The Newman, a luxury boutique hotel in London's Fitzrovia neighborhood, is the debut property developed and managed by the international hospitality company Kinsfolk & Co. Scheduled to officially open on February 1, 2026, the 81-room hotel was spearheaded by Kinsfolk & Co's founder and CEO, Paul Brackley, alongside General Manager Oliver Milne-Watson. The development occupies a site at 50 Newman Street formerly home to boot makers Penton & Sons, following a 2018 planning permission for its total redevelopment into a hotel. 

The Newman Hotel in London's Fitzrovia offers 81 stylish rooms, studios, and apartments, with amenities including the Brasserie restaurant, Gambit Bar, wellness facilities like a salt room & hydrotherapy pool, a health club with yoga, and personalized concierge services for local experiences, though specific suite numbers and ballroom/banquet details require direct hotel contact as it opens Summer 2025.
