Designed by Jeffrey Wilkes, the concept respects the historic building while introducing clean lines, soft textures (like timber, rattan, linen), and a light palette to create an open, restful atmosphere that connects seamlessly with the surrounding lush greenery, offering a fresh, intuitive take on luxury living. 

METT Singapore's design, led by acclaimed designer Jeffrey Wilkes, masterfully blends the historic colonial charm of its Fort Canning Park location with contemporary luxury, creating a tranquil yet vibrant lifestyle destination with open spaces, high ceilings, natural palettes, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow, reflecting a sophisticated, relaxed approach to hospitality that emphasizes wellness, social connection, and refined living. Wilkes incorporated his signature deep blue accents, botanical themes, and thoughtful details, transforming the heritage building into a modern sanctuary with state-of-the-art facilities and dining, while maintaining its iconic character. 

METT Singapore is a luxury lifestyle hotel developed and owned by the Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG). Officially opened on October 28, 2025, it occupies the historic former Hotel Fort Canning, a neoclassical heritage building dating back to 1926. The property was reimagined by acclaimed designer Jeffrey Wilkes, who balanced its colonial architecture with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. 

METT Singapore, a luxury hotel in Fort Canning Park, offers 84 rooms and suites blending colonial charm with modern design, featuring amenities like two pools, a spa (Longevity Suite), gym, and diverse dining, including L'Amo Bistrò del Mare (Italian), HANU (Korean), Canning Bar & Lounge, and soon-to-open Art di Daniele Sperindio; event spaces and the private Madisson House add to its offerings for wellness and social connection.
