The Mira Moon Hote

The Mira Moon Hotel is conveniently located in the vibrant district of Causeway Bay, on Hong Kong Island. Its central position at 388 Jaffe Road places it in the heart of a bustling hub for entertainment, dining, and shopping. Major shopping destinations such as Times Square, Sogo, and Hysan Place are all within walking distance, offering guests ample retail opportunities. The hotel is also situated near cultural and business landmarks, including the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Hong Kong Arts Centre. For travelers exploring the city, the Mira Moon is easily accessible via public transport, being just a five-minute walk from the Causeway Bay MTR Station. This makes it a perfect urban retreat for both leisure and business visitors.

Mira Moon, a boutique hotel in Hong Kong's Wan Chai district, was designed by the renowned Dutch architect Marcel Wanders through his design partnership Wanders & yoo. The hotel's interior design brings to life a classic Chinese legend about the Moon Goddess and her Jade Rabbit, blending Dutch modernist elements with rich local heritage to create a whimsical and opulent atmosphere with features like tulip-shaped chairs, intricate mosaic walls, and striking red and dark wood accents.

Led by Wanders & yoo, centers on a playful, contemporary interpretation of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival fairytale, where the Moon Goddess Chang'er is depicted sending her Jade Rabbit to Earth to join her true love. This "story hotel" blends Eastern and Western design elements, using custom furniture with antique Chinese fabrics, bespoke mosaic walls, elaborate lanterns, and motifs like peonies and rabbits to create a whimsical yet dramatic experience that weaves the ancient love story into its modern architecture.  

The Mira Moon hotel was developed by the Miramar Group, a Hong Kong-based hospitality and property company. The creative direction and interior design were led by the global partnership of Wanders & yoo, with renowned designer Marcel Wanders taking the lead. The architectural design was a collaborative effort between AB Concept and Dennis Lau & Ng Chun Man Architects & Engineers.

Mira Moon Hong Kong features a total of 87 guestrooms and two suites: a Junior Suite and a Penthouse Suite, designed to reinterpret the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. The spacious Junior Suite offers impressive harbor views, while the large Penthouse Suite includes a living and dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a master bedroom, a study, and a bunk bedroom. All guestrooms and suites at Mira Moon are equipped with tech-savvy features and high-speed internet access to ensure a comfortable and connected stay.  the Mira Moon is a design boutique hotel inspired by the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival fairytale of the Moon Goddess and her Jade Rabbit. However, it is important to note that the amenity spaces—such as the lounge, restaurant, wellness facilities, ballroom, and banquet services—are primarily located at its larger sister property, The Mira Hong Kong, in Tsim Sha Tsui.
