The Diamond Amsterdam

Renowned architect Robert Meijer of MVSA Architects has designed a six-storey building with a basement and a glass diamond-shaped outer facade. This outer facade refers to the famous diamond Koh-I-Noor which will give a spectacular appearance.

This is where the famous Heineken Hoek was located for decades. This famous café will be completely restyled with a quality steakhouse on the first floor. Furthermore, The Diamond will include an exclusive cocktail bar, a table d’hôte and an upmarket 4-star hotel with 36 luxury rooms.

H.H. Leidseplein B.V. (HHBV) will be the operator of both hospitality and hotel. HHBV is a joint venture between the two highly experienced hospitality and hotel operators in the Netherlands, Yip Group (www.yipgroup.com) and Q Hospitality Group (www.qhospitality.group), and Martin Nijdam, owner of, among others, the pub The Three Sisters on Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam.

The Diamond Amsterdam is ideally located at 14-16 Akerstraat, in the vibrant district of Amsterdam. Nestled in the heart of the city, the hotel offers easy access to major attractions, cultural landmarks, and the picturesque canals that Amsterdam is renowned for. Its prime location allows guests to explore the rich history and artistic heritage of the city, making it a perfect base for both leisure and business travelers seeking to experience the unique ambiance of Amsterdam.
