Four Seasons Resort And Residences Red Sea At Shura Island

Developed by Red Sea Global in partnership with Kingdom Holding Company — the first joint venture-developed resort in RSG's portfolio to reach the market — the resort welcomed its first guests on 20 May 2026. It sits at the eastern tip of Shura Island, the largest island in the archipelago of The Red Sea destination on Saudi Arabia's west coast, about half an hour from Red Sea International Airport, reached by a scenic causeway. The architecture is by Foster + Partners, with interiors of the Resort Residences by Meyer Davis and the Private Residences by Goddard Littlefair. The design theory is low-impact, landscape-led "barefoot luxury": the architecture draws on desert trade caravans, with accommodation clusters dispersed across the site at low density, and the resort is wrapped by sea on three sides. Villa exteriors dissolve into the dunescape, using slatted timber screens for privacy and a palette keyed to the golden sand, while the island itself runs entirely on renewable energy under Red Sea Global's regenerative tourism agenda. Facilities include 149 rooms and suites plus 31 residences opening fully onto the water; six dining venues, among them plant-forward Sea Green, Levantine Al Forn and Italian-inspired Spiaggia; a spa with a traditional hammam, hydrotherapy pool and gym, and treatment rooms themed on water, salt, coral and plants; three pools (family, adults-only and a spa lap pool) and a 1.3 km beach; a kids' and teens' club; meeting and event spaces, a marine discovery centre, tennis courts and reef diving. Nearby, 75 Private Residences — 43 Dune Villas and 32 Waterside Villas — sit between the resort and the 18-hole Shura Links golf course, ranging from three to five bedrooms and 414–534 m².
