Namia River Retreat

Namia River Retreat is a secluded luxury wellness resort situated on Cồn Ba Xã Islet, a private five-hectare island on the Thu Bon River, near Hoi An. This unique island location provides a peaceful and tranquil escape from the bustle of the Hoi An Ancient Town, while still being conveniently close. The retreat is found in the tranquil Cam Thanh area, known for its picturesque coconut groves and serene waterways. The resort is less than 2 km from the center of Hoi An Ancient Town, making it a short ride away for guests who want to explore the famous UNESCO World Heritage site. The hotel provides complimentary bamboo bicycles for guests to make the trip into town, and other local transportation like taxis are also available. The location is also well-connected to surrounding areas, with Da Nang International Airport located approximately 45 minutes away by car.

The Namia River Retreat was developed by HG Holdings, a Vietnamese company with 25 years of experience in the travel, airline, cruise, and hotel sectors. The project was initiated by HG Holdings' CEO, Tran Thanh Nam, who was inspired by his childhood in the Vietnamese countryside to create a retreat that celebrates the culture and traditions of Hoi An. In 2022, HG Holdings partnered with Khang Minh Group, which provided investment capital for the Hoi An project.

The design theory behind Namia River Retreat in Hoi An is an authentic blend of Vietnamese heritage, proactive wellness, and a deep, sustainable connection with the natural riverine landscape. Located on the serene Cồn Ba Xã islet of the Thu Bồn River, the retreat was created by T3 Architects to be a low-impact, ultra-luxury resort that feels like a hidden sanctuary. 

On a serene islet overlooking the Thu Bon River, Namia River Retreat offers an ultra-luxury escape just outside the UNESCO-listed town of Hoi An in Vietnam. Designed by T3 Architects and Kanopea Architecture Studio, the resort comprises 60 spacious villas that blend sustainability with contemporary elegance.

Namia River Retreat in Hoi An features a total of 60 individual villas, all of which include a private pool. The accommodations are offered across a range of styles to suit different guest needs, from intimate one-bedroom villas to spacious family options. The resort's room and suite categories include: Nipa Pool Villas: One-bedroom villas with views of the lush Nipa palm forest. They are available with either king or twin beds. River Pool Villas: One-bedroom villas offering direct views of the Thu Bon River and are available with either king or twin beds.

Family Villas: Two-bedroom villas designed for families. Options are available with either Nipa palm or river views. Honeymoon Pool Villa: An ultra-private, one-bedroom suite featuring 180-degree river views, a four-poster bed, an outdoor sauna, a jacuzzi, and a riverside dining pavilion.
