Hotel Balzac Paris

The origins of Hotel Balzac's development remain unclear. Presently, it resides within the portfolio of MBI International, a prominent holding company with diverse holdings in hospitality, agribusiness, and real estate development.

Acquired by MBI International in 2004 for $102 million, Hotel Balzac underwent a comprehensive renovation project. Completed in June 2024, this initiative aimed to revitalize the spirit of the Champs-Élysées' golden age through a refined and understated design approach.

Situated at 6 rue Balzac within Paris' prestigious 8th arrondissement, the hotel enjoys a truly enviable location. Guests are mere steps away from the iconic Champs-Élysées, with convenient access to renowned landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower.

Hotel Balzac provides a tranquil haven featuring 58 spacious rooms and suites, some offering unparalleled Eiffel Tower vistas. The property further elevates the guest experience with an elegant lounge, a chic bar, a rejuvenating spa, and an on-site restaurant helmed by the esteemed Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire.

The original structure is attributed to the acclaimed architect Nicolas-Claude Girardin. For the 2024 reopening, Festen Architecture led the interior design, masterfully weaving a tapestry that blends classic Parisian elegance with contemporary touches. The outcome is a luxurious and intimate ambiance that embodies the very essence of Parisian charm.
