Fairmont Mumbai Hotel Opens, Marking the Brand’s Second Property in India

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Shrem Airport Hotels, has announced the official launch of Fairmont Mumbai set for April 2025.

The new hotel’s design is influenced by the Art Deco splendor of New York’s golden age, combining historic architectural finesse with modern luxury. The property boasts 446 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, a wellness floor, and 75,000 square feet of expansive event space.

Culinary experiences at the hotel are diverse and globally inspired, with five unique dining venues on offer. These include Madeleine de Proust, an Indo-French patisserie and tea lounge; The Merchants, a food hall offering an array of global cuisines; Samaa, a Mediterranean-inspired alfresco dining experience; Oryn, a venue dedicated to Sichuan and Cantonese flavors; and The Hedonist, an elegant bar serving crafted cocktails.

Designed to accommodate both business and social events, Fairmont Mumbai offers one of the city’s largest event spaces. It features the 21,000-square-foot Infinity Ballroom, the Eon Ballroom, the Vantage rooftop venue, and the Grand Terminus business center.

The hotel also pioneers wellness and longevity treatments at the Fairmont Spa & Longevity Center, India’s first luxury hotel to offer this wellness experience. Treatments include cryotherapy, red light therapy, infrared sauna with halotherapy, intermittent vacuum therapy, and a hyperbaric oxygen pod.

Fairmont Mumbai also caters to families with an infinity swimming pool, a dedicated children’s pool, and the engaging Tiny Town Kids’ Club.

This is the second Fairmont property in India following the successful launch of Fairmont Jaipur. The brand plans to expand its presence in India by opening Fairmont Udaipur Palace later this year, followed by Fairmont Agra, Fairmont Shimla Fagu, and Fairmont Goa Shiroda.
