MGM Reserve Zhuhai

MGM Reserve Zhuhai is a hotel nestled within the Phoenix Mountain, a location known as the birthplace of Xiangshan culture, offering tranquil views of Xiangshan Lake and an immersive experience within the natural surroundings of the area

MGM Reserve Zhuhai was developed and is promoted by Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality, a joint venture between China's Diaoyutai State Guesthouse and the U.S.-based MGM Resorts International. The project serves as the inaugural property for MGM Reserve, a luxury hotel brand launched by the joint venture.

MGM Reserve Zhuhai's design was handled by CCD / Cheng Chung Design, who sought to balance modernity with tradition by incorporating elements of classical Lingnan gardens within a contemporary aesthetic. The design draws inspiration from the region's four great gardens, integrating the hotel's architecture with the natural landscape of mountains and terrain to create a seamless connection between the city and the resort.

MGM Reserve Zhuhai's design theory blends traditional Lingnan garden aesthetics with modern luxury, creating a contemporary sanctuary that harmonizes with its natural surroundings at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain and overlooking Xiangshan Lake. The design draws from Lingnan mansion architecture, featuring elements like wooden screens and gold-brick marble, while capitalizing on natural light and views to create dynamic, evolving interior spaces. This concept focuses on a dialogue between architecture and nature, offering an immersive experience that is walkable, livable, and embraces the richness of Chinese culture through innovative hospitality and subtle, sophisticated details.

The resort offering an escape from the city, with a total of 147 to 155 elegant rooms and villas designed in a modern Lingnan style, alongside private villas with balconies overlooking lush gardens and mountains. The property blends contemporary design with traditional Chinese hospitality, featuring amenities like a swimming pool, fitness center, and three unique dining venues. Guests can enjoy the natural surroundings, including its proximity to Phoenix Mountain and Xiangshan Lake, providing an immersive cultural and environmental experience. Offering guests access to amenities such as a spa and wellness facilities, diverse dining options including specialized restaurants, various indoor and outdoor pools, and an Mhub lounge for casual meetings or relaxation. The property also features expansive ballroom facilities and meeting spaces suitable for large events and conferences.
