Populus Hotel Denver, Colorado

Populus Hotel is a sustainable design hotel located at 240 14th Street in Denver, Colorado. This eco-friendly accommodation opened its doors in the summer of 2024, offering guests a unique and environmentally conscious experience. With its commitment to sustainability, Populus Hotel aims to minimize its environmental impact while providing luxurious and comfortable accommodations.

They started with a question:  What would it look like to bring nature back into our cities? As a community of environmentalists and entrepreneurs, we imagined a hotel inspired by nature. From biophilic architecture, natural materials, original art, and seasonal cuisine, there is a love for the natural world in every detail. Populus was created by Urban Villages, designed by AD100 architecture firm Studio Gang and led by MacArthur Fellow Jeanne Gang, brought to life by interior designer, Heather Wildman of Wildman Chalmer Designs, with a thoughtful art program curated by environmentalist Katherine Homes, and operated by Aparium Hotel Group.

The Populus Hotel in Denver is a remarkable addition to the city's hospitality landscape, boasting a total of 200 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites. This sustainable design hotel features an array of amenities to ensure a memorable stay. The hotel's inviting lounge, aptly named The Solarium, offers a relaxing space for guests to unwind. Dining is elevated at The Grove, the hotel’s restaurant, which focuses on locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices. For those seeking wellness, the Vitality Spa provides a range of rejuvenating treatments in a tranquil setting. The versatile Gather Ballroom caters to both intimate gatherings and larger events, supported by comprehensive banquet facilities to accommodate various occasions. With its eco-conscious approach and luxurious amenities, the Populus Hotel exemplifies a modern hospitality experience.
