HOUSE ON PIPES. Vacation home in coconut groves. In india

From the bungalow that was intended to be a holiday home in a 1.5 acre coconut grove, it was designed to allow the structure of the building to gently touch the ground. And to disturb the existing coconut trees in the area to a minimum
.
The building was designed in a rectangular box shape. Inserted parallel to the line of coconut trees With the coconut tree as an element of the house As though the buildings and nature are one And also being able to open the view through the building's glass panels Therefore helping the inner residents to feel closer to the nature around them
.
While the structure of this building The designer chose to use steel structure as the main material. Combined with the design of the opening, switch and drapes for privacy that Balanced fit And in order to minimize the nature of the area The design team must work with more engineers. To calculate the weight of the structure that will be transferred to the ground in the coconut grove Which is softer than other areas
.
From this problem we can see that many small steel pillars act as a weight distribution structure. Like a system of perennials that have roots And then distribute the weight and strength with roots
.
The part of the house is surrounded by 3 layers of walls consisting of particleboard boards on the innermost floor. The middle layer is glass fiber to help prevent heat And ending with ashes on the outer wall In order to cool down before entering the house This house in the coconut groves Therefore cool and suitable for resting all day

Quintana Roo Boutique Hotel

"Accommodation in the middle of the forest that chooses to avoid the trees Rather than destroying it without thinking "
.
Jungle Keva, boutique hotel by the beach, Tulum In mexico Here, buildings are built in an area that has thickly grown trees. By means of pruning trees And build buildings to avoid trees So that architecture and nature can coexist
.
From the surrounding area where there are abundant forests, 70% of all kinds of plants are well preserved by the designer Jaque Studio, trying to position each villa in a humble manner. And in harmony with the mass of the trees that were before In the concept of a small village in the middle of a large forest of Maya people
.
With the sight that these trees Considered an important part in creating a shady atmosphere Including shade the building and people When there is a good environment The design team therefore intends to create a small building. And leave the area as nature is the heart There are therefore only 4 private villas with a common building that consists of a kitchen. Dining area, yoga area, and 1 swimming pool
.
Jaque Studio has spread the position of all 5 buildings to touch the smallest tree. While creating a comfortable atmosphere suitable for relaxation All villas have a living space of approximately 50 square meters, designed with wooden gable roofs. With thatched roof with another layer of palm leaves To prevent heat and create harmony with nature The white wall is made from ancient Maya stucco techniques. Which is a mixture of limestone and resin from the local tree that gives the white mole and is durable in itself. There is also a large glass sliding door that can be opened for sitting. Or comfortably sunbathe on the terrace hammock
.
Jungle Keva is another example boutique hotel that owners and designers recognize the importance of nature. Know the value of trees that can bring shade to the building rather than cutting and destroying to get space that can be built. Or greatly expanded the number of buildings
